Korea - Day #4 (May 2, 2011) - Insadong

Insadong used to be the largest market for antiques and artwork in Korea.  We found many art galleries and art supply shops.  We also found many handmade items - there were so many items I wanted to buy.  It was hard to limit myself to a couple of items.  I managed to spend some money that I made Darryl proud - NOT!

Which wind chime should I get?

While we were shopping (I was shopping and Darryl was just looking/paying), we had lunch and some snacks.

Next Tuesday (May 10, 2011) is Buddha's birthday and many areas are getting ready for the Lotus Lantern Festival to celebrate Buddha's birthday.  We stopped by the Gyokye Temple in Insadong to see many colored lanterns.
